Emerge Technologies has announced that it is now shipping its cool new iPad Sync-n-charge combo adapter. The device is called the ReTrak 4-in-1 charge & sync for iPad and other mobile devices. The device can be used to charge your iPad from the wall, PC, or in the car.
The device is compact and has a retractable USB cable that can be used alone with your computer. The device also has an AC adapter that can be plugged into the wall. That AC adapter also has a section that folds down allowing it to plug into the DC outlet in your car.
The device works on 5V and provides up to 2.1A of charging power with a pair of USB ports. One of the ports is optimized for the iPad with the needed 2.1A and the other is for any USB device. The charger can be purchased now for $39.99.
